The Vendetta Creed

Creed, the word derives from the Latin: credo for I believe and credimus for we believe.
I believe, that if I am to be excellent in what I do, and how I act, then we must be excellent in what we do, and how we act. Together we can overcome any odds, face any foe, and be the best at what we do, because we shall play at the best level. Negativity is not an option for us because it moves us further from our goals, separates us from one another and stalls us from our inevitable achievements. Vendetta shall push forward together, because I believe in Vendetta, and if I believe in Vendetta, then we all believe.
Long Live Vendetta

It's Arcadiea's Fault

Well it appears that Arcadiea and Vendetta are the masterminds behind gaming. I am able to bring down entire servers within just 4 months. According to this person one guild of 80 people and 1 guild leader are able to destroy entire servers of gamers.....I really should be getting paid for this haha. Now that i think about it, why am i wasting my talent in MMO's if i can get my enemy to quit and everyone else to follow me, maybe i'll just TAKE OVER THE WORLD NEXT!!!! muhahahahaha

Upper Abyss
Once again, the Failyos have proved that their DPS is almost as low as their intelligence. Since Roah defense can easily be accomplished with no more than 1 alliance, we Asmodians had our sights set on the offensive strike. Last weekend, while the Elyos were preoccupied with a diety they had absolutely no chance of conquering, Enigma swooped in for the kill and wiped them. This weekend, the realm once again came together and WE FINALLY GOT ASTERIA!

Core
Good ol' Menotios ... Asmos continue to control the kills in the core. Vendetta/One Percent and Last Resort/United Exodus have had some pretty amazing large scale, all out battles. However, the recent Elyos defeats have dampened their spirits and it shows - as time goes on they are traveling in numbers less and less.

Lower Abyss
Last weekend's well organized fort sieges proved very fruitful. With the DPS of Vendetta and One Percent attacking Siel's Western Fortress without any Elyos resistance, Siel's was conquered within 10 minutes. Invictus and others stormed Sulfur and it was conquered with literaly 6 seconds remaining on the timer. Epic.

Overall Fortress Control-
Asmos: 5 - Elyos: 0
· Vendetta - Roah
· One Percent - Siel's eastern & Asteria
· Invictus - Sulfur

- PVE News -

· The past couple of Menotios camps have turned into DPS/KS matches with 1%
· Hanuman & Alukina continue to be farmed
· Still no word on Watcher Zapiel

Tharrs a new sheriff in town.

As you all know, Arc was playing a joke on someone and left the guild for a sec and put me in charge last night. I was promoted to Brigade General, little did he know haha. Under my command, there is to be no more laughing, smiling, or having fun of any kind permitted in the legion. Anybody caught "enjoying themselves" or thinking "this is just a game" will be executed promptly at gunpoint. Freethinkers, liberals, and rebels of any kind will receive 100 lashings from myself personally - that's right, you will be huwhipped - until you obey. You. Will. Obey.

( .. Just kidding)

Upper Abyss
To test the limitations of the 30 minute timer, Asmodians from all corners of Asmodae banded together to try to take Asteria fortress down. Six coordinated alliances with members from every legion fought side by side, however our attempts were follied by the Elmos. With the timer at 10 minutes and the boss health at 50%, reports of their incoming force came flooding in. One Percent was immediatly wiped on Verdani's Prank, and shortly after, our little frog bodies were destroyed. However, on the upside, we now know exactly what kind of extreme DPS and power it requires to take an upper abyss fort within 30 minutes.

Core
The battle for the core is perpetual. Core cleaning is a daily activity that is constantly exciting, and as of right now, the Elyos control 0 artifacts. Lets keep it that way.

Lower Abyss
On Friday, Siel's defense was epic in every way possible. With only 1 Vendetta alliance defending against 3 Elyos alliances, the chances looked grim. However, with our strategy, we successfully held them off. With the timer at 1 minute, the health of the boss hadn't dropped below 20%. Unfortunately, later on during the raid on Asteria, the Elyos ninja'd Siel's from us. We're looking forward to taking it back this weekend and returning the favor of wiping them.

Overall Fortress Control-
· Vendetta - 1 Upper
· Elyos - 3 - all Lower

Alukina dropped some sexy Dagger loot! Congrats to Nait for getting it!

Greetings Vendetta Daevas!

This weekend was certainly an exciting one. It was the first Double Experience weekend and also the first time we got to see the rewards of 30 minute fortress defense. Arc has been doing a great job handing out gold medals left and right to all participating Asmos, regardless of their legion affiliation. If you put your ass on the line for the fort defense then you can bet you're going to get rewarded for it. On an offensive note, fortresses must now be taken within 30 minutes from the time the Deity spawns or it's no soup for you! These changes have really had an effect on our strategies and we're having a hell of the time experimenting with new ones. As always, it would not be possible without the determination and devotion of YOU, our dedicated and loyal Vendetta members. Vendie for life!

Grats to our members who dinged level 50 this week!

Upper Abyss
This weekend we successfully defended Roah Fortress every time it went vulnerable. As of this moment, we're still holding her down strong. We also own 6 of the 8 upper abyss artifacts controlled by Asmos, including Flaming Hell. Elyos only control 1, and Balaur have the remaining 5.

Core
The battle for the core is perpetual. Core cleaning is a daily activity that is constantly exciting, and as of right now, the Elyos control 0 artifacts. Lets keep it that way.

Lower Abyss
With our focus and energy diverted to Core and Upper Abyss, the Elyos are having a grand ol' time in the Lower thirds. Currently, they control 2 of 3 Fortresses. On the upside, the only blue fort in lower is Vendetta's Eastern Siel.

Overall Fortress Control-
· Vendetta - 2 - 1 Upper & 1 Lower
· Elyos - 2 - both Lower

- PVE News -

· Deputy Hanuman and his girlfriend have been downed at least 4 times and have been graduated to farm status. Congratulations Vendetta on getting the first server kill!

· Meno has been escaping us recently due to the attention of our PVE Sergeants being diverted onto a new boss for Vendetta. More to come as it develops.

· Alukina, everyone's favorite boss, has been downed several times and dropped the usual (crap) loot.

That about wraps up the weekend. Have a wonderful holiday season, Vendetta!
Enjoy these screenshots of us pwning the crap out of the Upper Abyss Elyos teleporter:

Taking the next step
Hello everyone this is Arcadiea, GL of Vendetta. Its been a hell of a ride with Vendetta since our creation.

Starting way back in Warhammer beta for almost a yr and since release and continuing through now for almost 2 yrs we have dominated the World of Warhammer. We have excelled, prospered, and conquered every obstical in our paths. We ran off Goon Squad's 1500 members on Azazel and stopped the onslaught of Desto with our Order branch. After the challange was gone from Azazel and volkmar we rerolled our entire guild on a highly dominated server as the underdogs, looking forward to the challange that would bring us. Yet again within 3 months our new found Desto branch halted and then reversed the Order exploiting and hacking guilds there and have successfully turned the tide of that server to a desto dominated server with our destro branch. Now we look forward to what lies ahead

One of the hot topics going on in Vendetta over the last few months has been the upcoming release of a few new MMO's, such as Dark Fall Online, and Aion. With these new games coming out soon members have come to me with mentions of wanting to check these new games out but not wanting to leave Vendetta. Everyone that's a part of Vendetta loves the concept of Vendetta, the mentality of it, and the ideas of the guild.

So with that in mind, it would be naive of me to believe that when these new games come out that people are not going to be heading out and checking them out, possibly leaving Warhammer. Vendetta is not leaving Warhammer by any stretch of the imagination but as I mentioned there are probably about 15 or so people interested in DFO and 15 or so interested in Aion.

Because of these members strong desire to remain with Vendetta, they have asked me to extend Vendetta into these new games, so we are taking the next step and starting to work on branch guilds in these two games. Because of this Vendetta is now accepting applications for membership in Dark Fall Online, Aion Online, and we are opening our doors up for membership for Warhammer Online as well. The non Warhammer branches are even going to be open for possible Destro players that may be leaving Warhammer haha.

To keep this on a somewhat Warhammer topic, we are opening our applications to more than just referrals and allowing people who are interested in Vendetta Warhammer to post an application on our website @ www.vendettaguild.net. Each application is reviewed and there is an interview process that follows, that everyone must go through to become a member of Vendetta. If you are interested in becoming a part of Vendetta I invite you to hop on over to our website and learn more about the guild. We are only accepting members that are in T atm and must be lvl 20+ to participate in the T3/4 RvR.

Our Aion and DFO branchs will be nothing like our Vendetta warhammer. There will be no casual undertone at all. We are looking for everyday gamers, a small band of excellent PvPers whose focus will be on destroying the enemy. We are looking for mandatory vent activity, discipline, teamwork, and a never surrender, never quit mentality. If you are looking for a small grp of excellent players, that will be gaming everyday performing at a lvl of competency that is second to none than we may have a home for you in Vendetta.

Again, Vendetta is now opening up applications for our Warhammer, DFO and Aion Online branches and I invite everyone to come to our website and take a look around @ www.vendettaguild.net. If anyone has any questions comments or concerns please feel free to drop me a PM here on WHA or on our guilds website. Thank You

Long Live Vendetta

Vendetta Volkmar Closes Its Doors
It is with great sadness that I have been slowly thinking about and constructing this post. I am here to officially announce that the Volkmar Order chapter of Vendetta will be closing its doors and going idle until further notice.

The Order Warhammer Chapter of Vendetta was the pioneer guild that began on as a closed beta guild and then rolled on Azazel for the opening of the game and transferred later to Volkmar when Azazel went inactive. In our time on Azazel we were the top Order Guild in renown in the WORLD from release until the move to Volkmar, without exceeding about 175 players. This is a feat in itself, due to the guilds out there of 300, 400 and 500 members. We were also certain to make sure that tactics and organization were central to the identity of our guild.

We were active day and night and were among the pioneers of the Law and Order Alliance, which dominated the server for months. We encouraged inter guild cooperation and were the intrigal in the unification of the majority of Azazel Order guilds in the attempt to take get into the Inevitable City. After some trial and error we finally reached the city and set the record for City takes pre-Volkmar transfer. In our order branches prime we were able to field one and a half war bands and were instrumental in the organization of an entire realm. I would gladly take on any two War bands of any Destro you care to mention with a single Order Vendetta warband.

After dominating the server, and the exodus of destro from Azazel, coupled with the cancled accounts, Vendetta was anxiously awaiting server transfers. Although server transfers were not good to Vendetta and we were frankly as a whole appalled by the ease at which cities could be taken on Volkmar. We did not want this, we wanted the challenge we had at release to drive us to perform at our best lvl, and organize as best we can to overcome our oppositions. Regretfully, the mass transfering of Order to Volkmar was the last straw for 90% of Vendetta players.

We could sit back and watch as the city flipped day after day for Order. This is not what we are really about, we like to have a challenge and the easy life of our new server made many people simply not wish to play Warhammer anymore. On Volkmar there is no need for a guild like us who believes above all in strategy, organization and getting a challenge out of the game. If Arcadiea and I each were leading a Warband of Vendetta on Volkmar at prime time with another Warband or more of LaO there if we needed it, it would simply be unnecessary, there would be nothing for us to fight, no organized zone control on the part of Destro to fight down and no allied Destro forced communicating with each other to fight back. There is no point in having a chapter of Vendetta on a server or in a game if there is no point in our coordination, organization and our standard of excellence in our players.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the closing of our Flagship Chapter of Vendetta but there comes a time when one must realize that the need for competition that made Vendetta great simply does not exist on this new server. I encourage the members of Vendetta who have left Warhammer to keep in touch and watch the website for upcoming game chapters. I would like to thank everyone who has played with or against us on either server. I will always remember this guild as being the greatest guild that I have ever had the privileged to be a part of. I know that we were universally respected by both our friends and our foes. I hope especially that the members of the Skull Throne Destruction chapter of Vendetta keep in mind their heritage and are proud of the Guild that they are a part of. It is with this post that I to pay tribute to the great guild that I am so very, very proud to be a part of.
Long Live Vendetta! Vendetta for Life!

Darkfall Online
DF Vendetta

History:
Vendetta was formed during the beta stage of Warhammer Online. Vendetta is still dominating
Warhammer on several servers on both factions and is planning chapters in several upcoming
games such as Star Wars Old Republic and Aion.
DF Vendetta is the first official chapter of Vendetta in a game outside of Warhammer. We have
full support of Vendetta and enjoy using the Vendetta website and Ventrilo.

About us:
DF Vendetta is more a community than it is a mere clan. We are Hardcore players without the
hardcore restrictions. We do not have a mandatory number of hours played per week, we do
not have any mandatory Tithing system, we do not have a mandatory playing style. All we
require is that when you do play, you play at your best.

Clan Goal:
Our goal, as a clan, is to cleanse Agon of the scourge upon it. The Orks, Alfar, and Mahirim
are a plague to the land and seas. They are soul less parasites that prey on the good folk
of Agon. The evolved races of Dwarves, Mirdain and Humans need protecting from this
disease that is spreading, and Vendetta is the Cure ! We are tireless in our goal to raise
the flag of good and destroy the Evil.

Playstyles:
We do not mandate playstyles and welcome those that choose to Roleplay, Craft, PvP, PvE,
engage in politics or whatever other aspect(s) of the game you enjoy. All we ask is that
you strive to be the best you can in your playstyle. That being said, we do expect members
to follow our "Good" theology and refrain from evil acts upon the good races.

Races:
We accept members of all Good Races of Agon, including Dwarves, Mirdain (Elves), and Humans.

Recruitment:
We are currently accepting new members that plan on making DF Vendetta a better clan
with their presence.
Contact Kato Stonefist in-game, Apply on our website, or Apply in-game via the clan button.

Welcome to the Vendetta Website!!!!
Hello my name is Arcadiea and i am the GM of the guild Vendetta @ www.vendettaguild.net

Vendetta is a closed beta started guild. It was formed from a few members who continually ran across one another during the closed beta phase and we decided to start a guild and continue it through beta, and into open release. During the 1st creation of Vendetta we achieved the highest rank of any guild destruction or order. Vendetta is going to be an Order based guild on a PvP server. The guild is going to be slightly different from any guild out there. We plan on being a hardcore style guild that demands quality players, but with an undertone of casualness. What I mean by an undertone of casualness is that even though quality will be the demanding factor to be a guild member, maintaining raid schedules, 40+ hrs a week of game time and things of that nature are not a requirement for the guild.

I believe that there are older, more mature players out there that can be excellent, and quality players that do have RL activities and may not have the ability to actually log in everyday, for hours on end. Does this make them bad players? I do not think that it does.

There are many things I have done previously as a guild leader that sets this guild apart from other guilds and allows for all the members in the guild to be active participants.

1st off, let me discuss our raid scheduling thoughts, that I have done in previous MMO's. By raid I mean any and all guild oriented scheduled events, such as Keep sieges, RvR, PvE, things along those lines. Almost every guild application that says they are hardcore guilds asks the question "Can u make our raid times?", or something along those lines. The problem with having a set schedule with raiding means that if someone cannot make those set times then they cannot be a member of the guild, even if that person is a quality player, mature, and intelligent. To me this is seems to be just plain idiotic.

What I have done in the past and it has worked exceptionally well is having a simplistic and easy to use rotating schedule that allows ALL members of the guild to participate in guild events. For example (this is not our schedule) If the guild were to raid mon and tue, what we would do, is have the 1st week of the month Mon & Tue, 2nd week of the month Wed, & Thur, 3rd week, Fri & Sat, then last week Sun. This allows for the raid schedule to rotate in a very simplistic and easy to follow way that will allow ALL the guild members to be fully participating in guild events.

2nd thing that separates the guild from other guilds is the desire for casual quality players. Players who enjoy purely PvE content, crafters, and others. I believe that to have the best possible guild that we can, that a guild must cover all aspects of game content.

This does not mean the guild plans to be a overly large, or even a large guild, because our standard will be that of quality not quantity.

3rdly, the entire guild, whether hardcore player, or casual MUST abide by a creed. It is expected of all the members to play at the best lvl and behave in the best possible manner. Below is the creed.

Yet another thing that separates Vendetta from other guilds is by NOT having a rules list, or a list of things that everyone must follow. I was sitting around writing out our rules list one day and it hit me.... Why am i writing the rules list for an entire guild of ppl. I am only just 1 person and there are thoughts feelings and ideas in ALL the guild members that i do not have myself. So instead of making a rules list, we have posted in our forums a "code of Conduct" thread. What that code of conduct is, is actually a thread that ALL the guild members are posting their thoughts on how the guild should be run, what rules the guild should have, and how the members of vendetta should act. Before release hits i will take all the posts of the guild members and formulate them into an official Code of conduct for the guild that the guild members must follow that was created by the guild members.

There are still yet other things that make us different, such as our guild sig design and the things involved with the guild sig. The looting concepts and how we plan on dealing with loot, and more.
